About Us

• MUSIC DEVELOPMENT was born in 2004 with the idea of creating brass instruments that, like our slogan says, embody a new design that unites high quality with a new look. Since the outset, FIDES has been the brand our trumpets and trombones have been developed under.

Matthias Beck is a trumpet player, band director and instrument maker. All those qualities found in the same person make Matthias a unique person in musical instrument manufacturing.

After many years of experience designing instruments for other brands Matthias Beck created the Fides brand together with Francisco Montesinos with the goal of creating a line of instruments (initially trumpets and trombones) whose hallmark is their excellent sound and intonation quality and design.
MUSIC DEVELOPMENT and the FIDES brand were born on 24 November, the day of Saint Cecilia patron saint of musicians.
